Banana bread

Ingredients

  • 2 cups spelt flour

  • 2 large eggs

  • 6 overripe bananas

  • 1 1/2 cups dark brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt

  • 1 cup pecan nuts, chopped

  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder

  • 1/2 tsp. cardamom powder

  • 1/2 tsp. cloves powder

  • 1/2 tsp. salt

  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C.

  2. Line a 10cm x 20cm baking pan with non-stick baking paper.

  3. Pure 4 bananas into a medium bowl. Add butter, yogurt, vanilla extract, sugar, and eggs. Beat until combined.

  4. Mix all the dried ingredients in a bowl and slowly add to the banana mixture until combine.

  5. Pour the mixture into the baking pan.

  6. Place 2 bananas over the top of the mixture.

  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until firm.
